Systemic counseling and Somatic Experiencing (SE)® in german and english
Every cell in your body feels how you speak to yourself – your inner dialogue becomes your biochemistry.
Each of us carries an inner voice – a voice that knows what truly aligns with us and where we genuinely want to go.
Yet, in our striving to become better and always do things „right“, this voice can grow quiet or even fall silent.
The constant search for solutions to our challenges often leaves us exhausted.
My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your inner voice, trusting it and finding the courage to follow it.
Systemic counselling does not see people in isolation, but within the context of the world, relationships, experiences and challenges that shape them. It focuses on recognizing thinking and behavioural patterns and opening up new perspectives as well as previously unconscious possibilities for action that already live within you.
Many of these patterns can be understood cognitively – we can name them, explain them and see them clearly. Yet this often isn’t enough for real change.
In my work, I combine this understanding with body‑based experience, so that change doesn’t stay in your head, but lands in your everyday life, in your body and in your relationships. Together we can discover new constellations that bring you more ease, security and self‑determination.
Where Body and System Meet
In my practice, counselling doesn’t just happen in the mind. Your body is a highly sensitive field of resonance for everything that surrounds you. It stores experiences, reacts to external stress and communicates continuously with your inner world.
Systemic‑somatic counselling does not view you in isolation. We look at how your nervous system responds to your environment – your relationships, your work and your entire life system.
Together, we learn to understand these physical signals, which creates new possibilities that feel right not only in your head, but in your body.
Systemic counselling does not view people through the lens of deficits or diagnoses. Instead, it assumes that we constantly try to find a balance in our lives and relationships – even if the price for this is sometimes suffering and inner tension.
The aim is not to impose change from the outside, but to set impulses that bring movement into existing patterns.
In this way, new perspectives and constellations can emerge that are more helpful.
it is less about what is „right“ or „wrong“ and more about developing new possibilities and perspectives. Hypotheses and counselling goals are developed together and remain flexible – they can be reviewed and adjusted at any time.
Somatic Experiencing (SE)® – a body‑oriented approach by Peter Levine was originally developed to resolve trauma and chronic stress. At its core stands subtle awareness of bodily sensations, to calm and stabilise the nervous system.
In a slow, mindful process, frozen survival reactions are gently loosened, so you can regain self‑regulation, presence and inner safety.
In my counselling I use Somatic Experiencing (SE)® in a trauma‑sensitive way, not as clinical trauma therapy. We work with your perception, your breathing and your bodily responses to soothe your system and open up new, resource‑oriented pathways in your daily life.

My Approach
For me, counselling is a collaborative process. I don’t see myself as the expert handing out ready-made solutions, but as an empathetic companion who reflects honestly and warmly what I perceive. A successful counselling process is rooted in your willingness to explore new paths – with an open mind for all the possibilities already within you.
About Me
Born in Switzerland with Bavarian roots, I grew up in both the Rhineland and South Korea – experiences that shaped me with diverse cultures and perspectives. Since my youth, I’ve been fascinated by the richness of the world and how differently people experience their reality. My own family and lifestyle have presented me with significant challenges. Along the way, I’ve learned that a shift in perspective is often the key to new and unexpected solutions.
I’m passionate about supporting people who want to find their own authentic path – one that feels alive, meaningful, and helps them unfold their potential. I’m warm, social, creative and compassionate and have been working since 2015 with adolescents, adults, and families in the field of orientation and counselling. I also have extensive experience in career and education counselling, as well as in management.
My Qualifications
I hold a B.A. and M.A. university degree in cultural and social sciences and have completed an advanced qualification in systemic counselling at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
This training is recognised by the German Association for Systemic Therapy, Counseling, and Family Therapy (DGSF)
and meets the standards of the German Association for Counseling (DGfB).
I am currently in training as a Somatic Experiencing® (SE) practitioner at UTA Academy in Cologne.

'The body`s voice is sensation. By learning to listen to this voice, we find the way back to our inner balance.'
